Adopt a Bichon Frise / Mixed (long coat)

Meet Lucky who finally has the opportunity to live up to his name.  Lucky fell on hard times in early 2017.  His owners died and the family took Lucky and his buddies to the shelter.  Everyone was quickly adopted.  Lucky went to a great home but had always been with other dogs and was now the only canine.  It did not go well at all and he quickly found himself back in the shelter.  This happened 2 more times.  With all this stress Lucky started to not feel well.  After several trips to the vet it was determined that he has Cushings dieases.  It was then decided that Lucky should go into rescue and Critter Cavalry happily stepped up.  Lucky still has some anxiety but is doing so much better.  He has been on the medicine for Cushings and is doing very well.  He has a wonderful foster family who is taking wonderful care of him.  He goes to doggies day care with his foster brother had has a big time.  Lucky really needs a family that can provide that or where someone is home almost all the time and already has a doggie friend for him.  He is learning to ride in the car and is doing really well here too.  He walks well on a leash and loves to go for short walks.  He really is a great guy.  Lucky is housebroken and goes to the door to go out.  He sleeps all night and would love to be near you during the night.  He currently sleeps at the foot of the bed.  If you are looking for a constant companion and can be patient, Lucky is the perfect fit for you.  He follows you around inside the house.  He just wants to be near you.  If you have a fenced in yard and love to garden, Lucky will help you with that too.  You can tell from his pictures that he likes the garden.  Lucky is a 7 year old bichon mix who weighs about 30 lbs.  He is neutered, current on all his shots and microchipped.  For more information on Lucky please contact Vivienne at [email protected] or 615-943-7311.  ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
